The North (until the Loire Valley) is occupied by the British troops and the future Charles VII, king of France lived in Chinon.

At the beginning of the 15th century, a young lady who lived in the Eastern France, Joan of Arc, truly believed that God asked her to bring the young Prince to Reims to be officially crowned as king of France.
